Breathing Training Day-12: Breathing is like jogging

I realized that breathing is much like training for running. At first, jog very lightly. After a half mile jog, all joints and muscles are loosened up and warmed up. Then I find comfortable rhythm. When I want to run fast, I just increase cadence without disrupting my rhythm. I may breathe a little bit faster yet it follows the overall rhythm so I don’t get tired soon. Then I train myself to sustain the rhythm by using minimum energy and generating minimum impact on the surface of the road.

Breathing is similar to that process. If I force it, I’ll never feel the rhythm. I start as if I jog very lightly. Loosen up my neck and shoulders, hip joints and lower back.

Today as I breathed, my dahn-jon system expanded. I imagined that my perineum was pulled down, my hip joints were pulled out, my pubic bone and tail bones were pulled out. The belt line around my waist expanded. This is an external expansion.

At the same time, I expanded the etheric space inward. It’s like diving into the deep ocean. Yet, it’s not diving downward. It’s diving inward. This is a multi-dimensional space. As I exchange energy in dahn-jon, I observed a bright energy coming in and stagnant energy being swept out.
