Q. Many people say that they had earned good money when they didn’t know about money, but they couldn’t make money anymore once they found out about its value.
A. They didn’t know about money. They couldn’t earn money because they became greedy for money. That is the reason. It’s not like you can’t make money once you know about it.
“When one isn’t greedy about money, one can make money but when one becomes greedy, one can’t earn it.”
The right expression would be ‘when one isn’t greedy about money, one can make money but when one becomes greedy, one can’t earn it.’ How can one know what money really is? Also, how on earth can one not have money when one truly knows about money? There is no such law exists in this world. You must know what it means to have money.
Q. Seuseungnim, you have done a couple of lectures about money so far. I think I would be able to write down about what money is after listening to your lectures several times. Then does that prove myself that I know about money?
A. How would you know still?
Q. How should we understand money in the right way to say that we know about money?
A. I taught as much as they asked. I still haven’t taught everything about money. Money experts haven’t come here yet. I taught them in accordance to their perception about money. I didn’t teach everything about money since no one asked about the principle of money. So, the complete study about money hasn’t come out yet. Money experts should come to ask me such questions.
Q. Do wealthy people in this world know about money and is that why the fortune has gone to them?
A. That’s because they were not after money. Not because they knew about money, but because they weren’t greedy for it. They were greedy for developing their business instead. This is why they were able to make lots of fortunes.
Wealthy people could make fortunes not because they knew about money, but because they weren’t greedy for money.
However, their business didn’t go so well since they were greedy for it. Only if they knew about the principle of running a business, they would have succeeded it. Without knowing, they couldn’t manage it as they wanted. But they still had fortunes because they weren’t greedy for money at least.
Q. Then, can I conclude that the greedier you are after something, the further you are to achieve it, the more you let go of your greed for something, the closer you are to achieve it?
(Lecturer: As much as you let go of your greed?)
Yes, as long as you’re less greedy…
A. Yes, you should say as much as you are less greedy for something, instead of letting it go of your greed. That’s a completely different story between the two. How could you let go of greed? You can’t.
Your lack of a certain quality of energy is making you greedy for a certain area. When you become greedy for something, that means you are weaker than the subject you want.
When you become greedy for something, that means you are weaker than the subject you want. Can a weak person achieve anything? Your lack of a certain quality of energy is making you greedy for a certain area. When you have higher quality thought about it, you wouldn’t need to get greedy for it. You will be able to manage it well. If you are being greedy for a certain thing, it means that you are weak in that part. Is a weak person capable of absorbing that energy? No, a weak person will be sucked in reversely.
Those people who are greedy for money have a weaker quality of energy than that of money.
Those people who are greedy for money have a weaker quality of energy than that of money. You have no idea what money is. How could you expect to get lots of money when you have weaker energy than the quality of money? When you are greedy for a person, that person wouldn’t be under your control. Because your greed for that person implies that you have a weaker quality of energy than the person.
A man of weak quality can never pull something that is at a higher quality. People who are greedy for money will never make true fortunes.
The same law is applied whether it is about money, person, whatever that you are greedy for. It means you are lacking in a certain part. A man of weak quality can never pull something that is at a higher quality. This is the law of Grand Nature.
Let’s now talk about different qualities in strength. There are things that we call it strong, others that are soft but strong inside. Logically, it doesn’t make sense that soft can be strong at the same time. However, soft means its quality of energy is strong.
The strongest energy is wisdom. No one can beat the power that comes as an outcome of comprehending the law of Grand Nature.
When a man is strong physically, its quality of energy is small but externally he is powerful. The strongest energy is wisdom, which is not physically strong. The power that comes as an outcome of comprehending the law of Grand Nature. No one can beat this power.
No matter how big the material quality is, its strength has limits on having a certain strength. Knowledge, however, does not seem strong. It is a different kind of strength than materials. The power of wisdom is something from another world that can’t be compared to that of the material world. In addition to that, our human spirit has the strength that overcomes material power. Since the spirit is in non-material form, materials can’t be compared to this. No matter how strong the material is, the spirit is unreachable.
The power of the material is nothing compared to that of non-material.
We must know what quality of energy is. It is about time that we, the intellectuals, learn to grasp the idea of the quality of energies in Grand Nature. The power of the material is nothing compared to that of non-material. The energy of material is always weak. This is how things would work in the future.
