Balance between my business and my clients’ businesses

———–

I started redesigning our business website a few days ago. It requires a lot of time. Lately, I’m spending most of my time to redesign our business website.

I read a book. The author was a marketer. He said that he used to work for his clients and help them to make tons of money. But he couldn’t find the time for himself even if he barely met his ends. One day, he changed the pattern. He worked for his own business for the first one hour of the day. During the most important hour, he marketed his own business. After finishing his own marketing, he worked for his clients. Since then, his business completely changed as well as his income doubled and even tripled later.

His story influenced me a lot. I feel like our business website is a foundation for other websites. Without this strong support, I can’t help other businesses.

Today what I found was that I also have to support other businesses as much as I work for our own business. I can’t work for redesigning our site all day long. I feel like I’m losing a cause or a reason why I redesign our site.

As I interact with my clients and feel that they appreciate my work, I feel more motivated and inspired. Without them, I can’t exist.

Finding the balance between my business and my clients’ business is the key.
