Dong-ahn-guh Day 44 – Wrapping up the first week successfully

My Jungbub Journal – Forty-fourth Day of Dong-ahn-guh (winter meditation retreat)

Wrapping up the first week successfully

———–

I was pretty tired this morning because I worked in front of my computer until 10:30 pm last night. Lots of requests came in my mailbox.

The solution is “becoming an expert!” I love my answer. If I focused on each task and request, I must have been burnt out. Instead, I was calm and thought like an expert.

Experts in this industry must be much busier than I. I mean, they must create much more values for the industry than I do. Definitely, I will create more values next year. Then, how can I handle this situation today?

Just focus on becoming an expert and work like an expert, instead of handling each task so hard.

This insight helped me to finish my first week really well. The Hawaiian charter school sounded very happy with what I did. I think we can finish the project and migrate the website next week. Also, the law office’s website is well-designed. When the paralegal sends me the new content, I can replace with it. Then, it’s done, too.

Now I will focus on planning our business’s new website and making a proposal for the Hawaiian Supreme Court’s project next week.

I try not to think, “I have to take the order of the project!” Instead, I try to think, “If we’re the right company to take the order, it will happen. If we’re not ready yet, it won’t. The worst thing is that we take the order even if we’re not ready. That’s will damage our company’s growth.”
