Jungbub-6246. How to spend your birthday in the right way

Q. May I ask you a question related to birthdays since it is my birthday today? Nowadays, there are many different birthday cultures. You can spend your birthday receiving a lot of blessings from many people, or you can spend your birthday alone comfortably recognizing that ‘It is my birthday today.’ I seem to belong to the latter. Please let me know how to spend birthdays well.

A. We should study about birthdays now. Until now, we became greedy when we have our birthday. So, when it comes to your birth month, something bad happens little by little. I bet many of you have experienced it. Why is that? It means there’s something wrong with it.

We should study about birthdays now. We need to know how to discern the law correctly.

A birthday is not a day when you receive gifts. It is a day in which you express your gratitude. We have grown invalid logic into common sense. It is said that a birthday is a blessed day that we came into the world, and we kept giving gifts repeatedly. So, we have fallen into a bad habit. As much as we have done it wrong, we would face difficulty later. We mistakenly believe that we do well with what we do wrong, but the Grand Nature does not forgive us with what we do wrong. So, now we need to know how to discern the law correctly.

On your birthday, you need to express your gratitude to the people around you.

On your birthday, you need to express your gratitude to the people around you. Why? You should be grateful for them to be around you ever since you were born into this earth. You should be grateful for the environment that you have. You should also be grateful that all the people keep watching over you without staying away from you. So, instead of expecting anyone to give you a cake, it is right that you get the cake for them to eat saying, ‘Thank you’. You should not pout for not getting a cake. We need to rectify the law from now on.

On our birthday, we need to study what we need to do in this world.

On our birthday, we need to study what we need to do in this world. On our birth month, we have to study and ask ourselves, ‘Am I really growing as a person that society needs?’ When we are young, our parents celebrate our birthday, which starts with a bad habit. Then what should the parents do for their children’s birthday?

Parents should educate their children about the birthday in a righteous way.

Parents should educate their children as they take care of their children’s birthday until they reach the age of 21. However, parents need to teach the right things from puberty. “I am taking care of your birthday now, but you should be grateful to the people around you when you have entered into society. You shouldn’t be expected to celebrate your birthday.” You ought to make it virtuous day by preparing and taking care of the birthday and by providing children’s education. As you celebrate your child’s birthday giving gifts and being forced to laugh and sing, you are spoiling your child’s habit creating this society to go wrong. And the arrow will come back to you for as long as you do wrong. That is what God punished us for. Even though it is not too big, when the arrow comes back to you for wrong-doings, it means that God wants to teach us again through the difficulty.

On your birth month, you should reflect and study why you’ve come into this world in a physical body.

Therefore, you should study yourself on your birth month. After you have become a member of society, you might forget about it most of the time, but you should reflect and study why you’ve come into this world in a physical body on your birth month. You will begin to have good things happen if you make an effort to discipline yourself. One thing we need to learn is how to spend our birthday in the right way. You should think of it this way.

(Clapping)

Happy birthday to you!
